It is located in front of the Western façade of the Cathedral. It was ordered by the archbishop Raxoi. It was originally used as a seminary for confessors and residence for children of the chorus.
It has a great and elegant Neoclassic facade that is supported by a granite porch with fourteen round arches. In the centre of the façade we can see a gable with a marble relief where the Battle of Clavijo is represented by Gambino and Ferreiro, crowned by the equestrian statue of Santiago.
Inside, we should highlight the Rococo staircase also designed Lemaur. Nowadays, it houses the City Hall and the Galician Government.
