Festungsanlage Königlich

Die Festungsanlage, die sich aus verschiedenen Bestandteilen (Gräben, Mauern und Galerien) zusammensetzt, wird von einer Balustrade gesäumt. Sie entstand im Mittelalter aufgrund des Grenzcharakters, den die Stadt Ceuta besaß.

Nach der Eroberung der Stadt durch die Portugiesen entstanden zwei Mauerwerke sowie mehrere Bastionen, ein schiffbarer Graben und eine Zugbrücke.

Heute sind noch die Bollwerke La Coraza Alta, La Bandera und Los Mallorquines erhalten.
